Section A – ART - Please state the medium used for each entry
1. Portrait – figure painting
2. An Animal or bird study
3. A Plant study
4. A Still life
5. A Water or Sea scene
6. A landscape
7. A Black/White picture
8. Abstract art.
9. A study of a subject not mentioned above
10. A decorated pebble, egg or ceramic item. Max 15cm x 10cm
11. An item of encaustic
12. Sculptured item - any medium.
13. Painted glass.
14. Three dimensional picture , using buttons, pulses shells etc
Section B – NEEDLEWORK Mounting and finishing of entries will be taken into account
15. Sewn Item of child’s clothing
16. A dressed soft toy or doll - eg Teddy Bear
17. Stitched dress, blouse or shirt.
18. Patchwork, Quilted or Appliqué item
19. Cross Stitch - any crossed stitch Item
20. Tapestry - any tapestried item
21. Embroidery - any embroidered item
22. Soft toy - stitched
23. Knitted garment
24. Knitted item not a garment
25. Soft toy - knitted or crocheted

Section C – CRAFT
29. Recycled item - knitted or crochet - State previous use of the material
30. Recycled item - any other medium - State previous use of the material
31. Parchment - card or picture
32. Decoupage card or Picture
33. Origami Model.
34. Greetings Card - any occasion - any medium
35. A case for a mobile phone or glasses
36. Item made from glass or resin
37. A Handmade box with lid – any medium.
38. Jewellery making– any medium.
39. A felted item. Either needle felting or wet felted method
40. Accessories - Hat or Handbag etc - any medium
41. Mosaic or collage item
42. An item to sell at a bazaar - costing no more than £2
43. A Flower made from any material
44. A mask - eg: carnival, masquerade etc
45. A wall hanging or a mobile - maximum size 50cm x 40cm
Section D – PHOTOGRAPHY
Photos must be in a card mount, or frame no larger than A4 overall and the actual photo image must be minimum of 17cm x 12cm
46. A portrait in colour.
47. Landscape or waterscape in colour.
48. A Plant study in colour
49. Creature in colour
50. A Black and White study
51. An Amusing Photograph
52. A Still life - any object
53. A photo of a subject not mentioned above
Section F – GENERAL
54. Macramė - any item
55. An item of art, i.e. poster or picture
56. A “one hundred word” story.
57. Poem. – own original work.
58. Limerick - own original work.
59. A new class - not elsewhere in this schedule.
60. A Seasonal decoration- i.e. for Easter, Christmas, or a carved Pumpkin for Halloween etc.
61. An item made of wood
62. An item made on a 3D printer
63. Any halloween item
64. Miniature garden on a plate - maximum 30cm x 30cm
Section G – CHILDREN - My Favourite Arts & Crafts Work
Children's entries will be split into one of 3 age groups:
- 3-6 years
- 7-10 years
- 11-15 years
The age of the competitor must be displayed on the entry and adults are reminded that the children’s entries must be their own unaided work.
There are no specific categories for these sections as we want to see your Favourite Arts & Crafts Work!
Arts & Crafts includes anything such as Free Hand Painting, Colouring In, Photography, Digital Work, Garden on a Plate, Needlecraft, Jewellery, Recycled Item or anything else you can think of!
No entry can be bigger than 45cm x 45cm x 45cm
